In the first quarter of the seventh grade year I was the recipient of the CARES Award. Every quarter all teachers select one student for each characteristic (Community, Attitude, Respect, Effort and Scholarship) per hallway, and I was chosen to receive the letter R standing for Respect toward my teachers and classmates.

The End-of-School Year Language Arts Excellence Award is an award that is given out to one student per class that demonstrates hard work, consistency and desire to learn in that area.
